Well, folks, the normally reliable Blogger ate my last post, and all the comments with it.
Blogger is working to restore everything, so the lost post may return eventually. But if it doesn't, I'll live. It was just a small rant about some idiot's snotty remark about pink bows. The only reason I'm bringing it up is so no one thinks I've been randomly deleting posts.
And no (Tovar!), I still will not switch to WordPress. One substantial glitch in nearly four years with Blogger still beats WP's notoriously hellish new-version-upgrade nightmares and hackability. I <3 Blogger, despite this little mishap.

mine finally came back saved as a draft.
try hitting 'edit posts' under 'manage blogs' in ur dashboard or 'return to list of posts' under the publish button on ur new post page.
When Blogger gets hungry, bloggers beware. ;-)
In a year and a half, I've had only very minor hiccups with Wordpress. Has Hank had major troubles?
It sounds like Tamar may have had some kind of hack issue recently, though I haven't asked her about it yet.
If I could build and expand a multi-page site with Blogger, I might have gone that route.
That's interesting. I use Blogger since 2006 and never that happen to me on any of my four blogs. I think the worst that ever happened was that it wouldn't let me post images, but that was years ago.
The blog I write for the BC Outdoors magazine is with Word Press and so far (one year) no issues either.
Hope your problem is resolved soon.

It happened to me also Holly and sat there and reposted everything back in. The next day I saw where it was placed back in but had double postings and deleted the one that I had redone and had my dates messed up. Oh well, at least I got it back and you should have gotten yours by now. Yes, Blogger probably ate your post! :)
D Nova: It definitely did revert to a saved draft, but the draft wasn't close to the actual post, which I'd rewritten entirely on Wednesday (the Day Bad Things Happened).
Tovar: Mercifully Blogger allows static pages now. It's not as nimble as WordPress in that respect, but definitely good enough for my needs.
Othmar: You're lucky!
Marian: Fortunately I was really busy when Blogger was in a huge state of flux, so if my blog disappeared like some other bloggers' did, I wasn't aware of it. (Some people logged in to find they had no profile and no blog at all.)
I'm not trying to jump on the pile, and I'm not getting paid by Wordpress, but I've never had a problem in my four years of using it.
My two cents. You can throw them back at me, if you choose :):)
