OMG!

I absolutely LOVE this photo I found today in the Chillicothe (Ohio) Gazette in a story by Ashley Phillips about women deer hunters. This is huntress Amy Mendenhall, posing for her senior picture!

All I can say is there was nothing like that in my high school yearbook.

Now that's just about perfect!

Even in the boonies where I went to school, senior pix were still the stuff of pomp and circumstance... I see the kids today having a lot more fun with their pictures.

That's a very cool senior picture. I have to say, I don't remember many like that at my high school, but then I grew up in a more urban environment.

I love this picture. I've never seen anything like it.

Interestingly enough, I have long craved a portrait like this of me and my boyfriend. We don't have any mounted heads we could use for props at this point - though it is, uh, interesting how it looks like the buck has just burst through this girl's bedsheet.

But I was just thinking of something simple: you know, camo, guns, maybe a feather boa and that soft focus they use for Glamor Shots...

OMG!!! Camo, guns, and a feather boa!

Now that right there's funny!

These folks could take notes.
